Lulled by a Mermaid's Song

Myth suggests that the siren Parthenope founded Naples. The creature, after meeting Odysseus, was carried by the waves to the place where Castel dell’Ovo stands today. There, a local fisherman dragged her to the beach and worshipped her as a goddess.
Once ashore, the mermaid’s body moved to the beautiful Mediterranean coast at the foot of Mount Vesuvius: the head rests to the east, on the hill of Capodimonte, and the feet to the west, toward the promontory of Posillipo.
This legend, which has lulled us since childhood, inspired our work and the name we chose for our company: a name that smells of passion for the sea and the scent of Mediterranean olive trees. Like a mermaid song.
